Founder & Head Coach

Steve McGill

Steve McGill, founder of Thrash Moto Co., comes from a long family history of dedicated motorcyclists. From father and uncle, to grandparents, to his own children. Motorcycles are in his blood; himself, getting his first bike at 6 years old, and never looking back.

He also dedicated 22 years of service in the Canadian Military, 16 of those years were as a Specialist in Tier 1 Special Operations Unit JTF2.

The operational tempo, the extreme physical and mental demands, and inevitable accompanying injuries, instilled a deep grasp and appreciation for overall well-being and performance. Adopting a strategic approach around fitness, mobility, recovery, and rehab, would become paramount to sustaining a 16-year career at that level.

Since then, Steve has directed those experiences together with a relentless work ethic toward teaching others the holistic approach to sustainable performance.

As such, Steve is much more than a fitness coach. His methodical approach is as a puzzle solving advisor. It requires a deep-dive into all aspects of his client’s proverbial Rubik’s Cube. To decode their individual situation, fitness, mobility, sleep, nutrition, hydration, and stress management must all be accounted for. Steve will be the beacon of guidance and accountability, however, ultimately the work on all aspects must be done by the clients to promote the most development and preparedness, within the limits of their timelines, goals, and resources.

Steve’s goal is always: Decode the best we can do, from what we have.

Ride stronger, Ride Longer.

Train Hard. Ride Hard. Follow Steve.
